When Cheating Is Necessary

It is essential to have a cheat meal as it is proven to boost your metabolic rate. However, it is advised to maintain the 90/10 rule. This means 90% of the cheat day constitutes of healthy meals and 10% is any indulgence that you crave. Personally, I find myself prone to binging by the 4th day of clean eating . Therefore, after 3 days of clean eating, I reward myself with a sinful meal. Yes, pasta is considered sinful to me.  If I do not include a cheat meal, I will start binging and will disrupt all the progress and hard work that I have had put into maintaining my weight that I have achieved at that point in time.
